Eddie Fan does not stop running after 15 seconds on printer start up or after a finished print job. (Eddie)

The Eddie fan is supposed to shut off after 15 seconds with no jobs in the queue.  If the fan does not stop running, the Eddie will still print normally. The issue is not an emergency, but it should be dealt with soon.  It will take thousands of hours before the fan motor burns out prematurely.  If you are concerned about the noise, switch off the printer.  It will still do regular cartridge maintenance every time you start up your printer.  We are working to find a permanent solution.

Solutions:

1. Disconnect the USB cable to ensure no jobs are stuck, causing the fan to keep running.

2. Manually downgrade to the previous firmware and then update to the latest firmware again.  The previous version of the firmware is attached. Follow this article to manually downgrade the firmware: https://customercare.primera.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-do-i-manually-downgrade-firmware-on-my-primera-printer

3. Wait for a new firmware version to fix this issue.
