Simultaneous Flashing Pause and Ink Lights. Printer will not print. (LX3000).

This flashing light sequence (shown below) indicates a missing ink tank or print head.  If the ink tank or print head is installed try the following solutions. 

1. Update PrintHub/Config Utility and Firmware to resolve this issue.  HC11 firmware should be 1.16 or higher, and STM32 firmware should be 1.11 or higher.  Everything is automatically updated if you follow the procedure in this article. 

2. The chip on the cyan, magenta, or yellow ink tank/bottle may be defective.  Replace the defective tank and request a replacement from tech support.  

3. The print head is not being recognized by the printer.   Clean the print head, carrier, or replace the print head.

Flashing Ink and Pause Light = Missing Print Head

Clean the copper contacts on the print head and the carrier with isopropyl alcohol.
