After a Windows 11 update, My Primera Printer is resetting every 10 seconds or Print Hub is switching between offline and ready -or- the printer does not print at all.

This error can appear in several ways, typically after an upgrade to Windows 11 from a lower operating system:
  1. Printer does not print.  Job is stuck in the queue but there is no activity from the printer.
  2. An audible reset sound can be heard every ten seconds on some models (Eddie).  Unable to print.
  3. Lights flash, indicating a reset every ten to 20 seconds.  Unable to print.
  4. In Print Hub, the printer status is cycling between offline and ready every 10 seconds.  Unable to print.
  5. In Print Hub, the printer status is cycling between offline and ready every 10 seconds.  Printing is not affected.
Instructions to Fix:

1.  Please follow these instructions to remove the driver completely.
2.  Reinstall the printer driver.  In most cases, after rebooting, you will simply need to reconnect the USB cable and power on the printer.  However, in other cases, you may need to download the universal installer from your printer download page to reinstall the driver. (Click the Blue button for "Download PC Software." )

3. If the actions above do not fix the problem,  Adjust your power management setting to NOT turn off external USB devices.  This is typically enabled by default on Windows 11 Laptops.   See this article.
