Y Motor Stall Error when you turn on the unit (Freddie).

The Y motor controls Freddie's front-to-back movement.  While the motor itself is inside the left cover area, the entire tongue assembly rides on two wheels on the far right side of the machine.  If dried frosting or other obstructions prevent the tongue from moving forward, you will receive this error.  Freddie will keep trying to move the tongue over and over.

1. Clean the Mat.  Remove the black mat and clean it.  Also, clean any frosting from the path.

2. Move the Start Position. Switch off Freddie and move the tongue assembly all the way to the front by hand. If Freddie was stuck in one spot, this would allow it to start from a different position and potentially overcome the obstructions.

3. Manually move the Tongue assembly from front to back. This process will break down dried icing/frosting and allow the Freddie tongue to move freely.

4. Clean the Guide Wheels. If wet frosting were on the black mat, it may have worked its way onto the wheels and dried in place. You can use water to clean these, but do this only as a last resort since sensitive electronics near the wheels could be damaged.

1. Switch off the unit and unplug it.
2. Remove the black mat.
3. Locate the guide wheels.

4. Move the wheel tongue assembly to the front by hand to get better access to the front wheel.  Use a curved nozzle squeeze bottle to direct water on the wheel.  As you squeeze water on the wheel, move it back slowly to cover the entire circumference of the wheel.

5. Move the tongue assembly all the way to the back to get better access to the back wheel.  Use a curved nozzle squeeze bottle to direct water on the wheel.  As you squeeze water on the wheel, move it back slowly to cover the entire circumference of the wheel.

6.  Clean up any frosting/icing that has come off the wheels and dry the area thoroughly.  Some parts may need to air dry or you may use a fan or a blow dryer at a safe distance to avoid heating up any parts.  When everything is completely dry power on the unit.
