Wiper Error or Interface Error (LX910, LX3000, LX4000, LX600, LX610, Eddie)

This error indicates that the motor that controls the wiper movement is stalling. This may be due to an obstruction in the path of the wiper.

Wiper Replacement Instructions

1. Ensure the cartridge cap is functioning properly. Please view this video for instructions. https://youtu.be/m_7H-ifaPmY

2. The wiper for these products is hidden in normal circumstances so you must follow this procedure to expose it.

To expose the Wiper for Cleaning on Eddie, LX600, LX610, LX910, and LX4000 = Press and hold the Pause button for 3 seconds. The cartridge cap will be retracted, exposing the wiper. The carrier/wiper will stay in this position for 10 minutes or until you press the Pause button again.

Manually expose the Wiper for other printers.

Follow the instructions below. Make sure the white gears and black gear track have no dust or debris lodged in the teeth.
