What are the recommended Storage and Use conditions for Primera Inkjet Cartridges and Printers.
For best print quality and to prevent premature nozzle clogging, follow these recommendations:
Note: Except where specified, these recommendations apply to both the printer and the cartridge.
Operating Environment:
- Operating temperature range: 41 to 95º F (5 to 35º C)
- Operating humidity range: 10 to 60% RH (non-condensing)
Storage environment:
- Printer: Temperature: -4 to 140º F (-20 to 60º C)
- Cartridge: Temperature: 32 to 140º F (0 to 60º C)
- Humidity: 10 to 80% RH (non-condensing)
Shipping environment:
Maximum and Minimum storage temps/humidity should not exceed 24 hours.
Cartridge Storage Life: Storage Life is two years at the conditions above. In most cases, cartridges can be stored for much longer than this, but we do not recommend purchasing more cartridges than can be used within two years, or you may begin to see more cartridge nozzles clogs. Most nozzle clogs can be resolved using these instructions.
Altitude Storage/Operating: There is no specification for altitude, and we are unaware of any problems with higher altitudes.
Storage Orientation: Store Cartridges with the nozzles facing down to avoid clogged nozzles. Open one box to determine nozzles orientation.
