Article # 207359 - The print on the label is slowly drifting off the label and printing on the liner.  The print position is not consistent from one label to the next. (LX800-810)

Label drift is caused by stock that is not held properly in place by the moveable throat guide, the roll guide on the roll arm or defective label stock that does not have a consistent margin between the edge of the liner and the label.

Follow the instructions printed on the inside cover of the unit to load label stock.  It is extremely important to place the label stock so that it is touching the left (printer's right) side of the feed area.  Once you have the label stock located there, adjust the moveable throat guide so that it just touches the edge of the right (printer's left) side of the stock.  Now push the stock into the printer until it senses it and pulls it through.
See this article for additional label stock loading tips.
