The ink in my new cartridge has leaked inside the packaging. (Eddie, LX Series, Bravo Series)
If an ink cartridge leaks, it is still usable. Simply clean off the ink and insert the cartridge into the printer. Typically, only 1/1000 of the cartridge's total ink leaks inside the packaging.
Most ink leaks inside the package because the cartridge is slightly overfilled. When a cartridge is accidentally overfilled, there is less air gap inside the cartridge, which makes it more likely to leak due to pressure differentials or excessive vibration when transporting by ground.
If the leaking ink caused colors to mix or otherwise makes the cartridge unusable please contact support to troubleshoot.
