The code execution cannot proceed because mfcm140u.dll was not found. Error when attempting to start up Bartender.
The error code occurs on Windows 10 computers that need to be updated to Windows 11 and are missing the Microsoft Visual C++. files.
A. Install Windows Updates
Install any available updates to your computer. If you computer is no longer eligible for updates, you may need to update to Windows 11.
B. Update C++ Redistributable
1. Go to Control Panel- Programs and Features-
2. Find the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. There may be several older versions.
3. Click the modify option at the top of the folder and then repair.
5. Go through the
installation steps.
C. Install BarTender 11.5
If you have a newer version, you may have to uninstall the previous version first.
