PC will not boot up after installing PTPublisher - Error Driver cannot Load on this device (Bravo Disc Publishers)

The error may be related to Px Engine security issues on some PCs with enhanced kernel-level security / core isolation memory protection / memory integrity. 

Follow these steps to update the Burn Engine. This updated burn engine adds compatibility with these security features. :

  1. Download the Zip file: https://workdrive.zohoexternal.com/file/8mcka838bc3581759466b9f40b3b0e2ead07e  (Version 5.8.40b)
  2. Run the EXE file in the zip.
  3. Make sure it is installed by checking for the following files in this location:  "C:\windows\sysWow64"

    -px.dll (Right Click, choose properties, Details tab to determine the version)
    -pxafs.dll
    -pxdrv.dll
    -pxmas.dll
    -pxsfs.dll
    -pxsub.dll
    -pxwave.dll
    -pxwma.dll

  4. Copy PXSDKPLS.DLL (Version 5.8.40b) to C:\Program Files (x86)\Primera Technology\PTPublisher
  5. Overwrite the existing file.      
  6. If you are able to open PTPublisher at this point, you can verify all versions by going to the Help Menu - About - Scroll to the bottom of the file list to find the burn engine files starting with px.
