Default page size stuck in the driver causing prints to be cut off on the bottom or right side or skipped labels (LX2000)

To verify you have this problem attempt to change the default page size set in Windows.  The default is typically 400 x 300 and can easily be changed.  If your default is something else and simply cannot be changed you have this problem.  Try the solutions below.

1. Print from NiceLabel or BarTender.  They will fix this issue since both programs override the default size and send their own size down to the printer before printing.  Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Reader pulls their page size from the default setting in Windows.

2. Check for other drivers that may conflict with your printer.  If they are HP based printers they are more likely to conflict.  Check the default page size in those printer drivers to see if they match what is stuck in the LX2000 driver.  There could be some cross-talk that is affecting the LX2000 driver.  To fix the issue either uninstall the other driver or change the page size in that driver to match your label size.

3Try a new computer. Usually, the stuck size is computer specific and can be resolved by moving to a new PC.

4. Reinstall Windows 10.

5. If the problem follows to a new computer or reoccurs on the same computer after reinstalling Windows it could also be caused by the printer itself.  The LX2000 has onboard memory and onboard OS which could be causing the stuck page size in the driver on whatever PC it is connected to.  Contact support to set up a repair to have the print board replaced.
