1. Guides. To help guide narrow labels you may add guides to the printer.  Primera sells guides for this purpose.  Purchase both items listed below. 

  1. Fixed left side label Guide for LX500 
  2. Moveable Self Adhesive Guide for LX500

For the LX400 use a pack of 3M self-adhesive squares.  Leave the backing on the self-adhesive square.  This provides a very smooth surface for the labels to slide against.  You could actually use more than one square on each side to get the artificial guides as close as possible to the stock without impeding it.  Please see the instructions here.

2. Edge Scan.  Every few labels, the printer will scan your media's edge to find the correct left margin starting position.  You can increase this scan frequency or turn it off completely if it is not detecting the edge accurately.  This can happen on circular labels more easily.  Go to Print Hub on PC only to adjust this setting.  Find the Print Alignment Tab.  Click More Settings.
