How to replace a broken cartridge lid/latch on an LX910, LX600, LX610, Eddie or IP60
If your lid is broken, you may purchase a replacement at the link below:
Follow these instructions:
The video shows Phillips screws, but the replacement lid includes T8 Torx screws. A T8 Torx Screwdriver will be required to complete assembly.
Tip! Be sure to remove the steel top plate of the broken lid and replacement lid. This will allow you to pinch the pivot pins inward to install or remove the lid.
Tip! When installing the lid, the springs' ends go under the carrier's tabs. It is installed correctly if the lid pops up when you open it.
