Note: The Freddie Power Supply is different than the Eddie Power Supply despite their similar visual appearance.  The Eddie Power Supply will not work for the Freddie.

Freddie Power:

Input: 100-240v
Output: 12v 5.0 Amps 60 watts

Eddie Power: 

Input: 100-240v
Output: 12v 3.0 Amps 36 watts

Using an Eddie Power Supply on a Freddie will cause a variety of errors at various points during operation.  Unfortunately, no clear error is displayed.  For this reason the Freddie power supply will have a label around the barrel.  You can also compare the specifications as shown below.
