When importing to iTunes you must turn AutoRun on to consistently, automatically rip discs that are placed in the burner by the disc publisher.

To turn AutoRun on change your registry value from zero to one. 

1. Go to Start - Run
2. Type regedit - Click OK
3. Browse to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom

4. Double click on the AutoRun key on the right side of the screen. 
5. In the dialog box that appears change the number in the Value data: box to 1
6. Click OK.
