A print job is stuck in the printer queue. How do I delete it? (Any Printer).

Follow these steps:

On a PC:

1. Open the print queue by clicking on the printer icon (1) in your system tray (lower right corner) or search (2) for "Printers" and click on "Printers and Scanners".  Find your printer on the list and click Open Queue (3). 

 
   
2. Right Click on the print job and choose "Cancel".

Unplug USB to the printer.  Wait five seconds.  Plug USB back in.  If jobs do not delete move on to the Advanced Method.


Advanced Method (PC Only).
 

1. Go to the Start menu.  
2. Search for Services.msc.  A services list will be displayed.  Right Click on "Print Spooler" and choose "Stop".  
3. Wait five seconds after it has been stopped.  
Delete any files from the following folder C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS.  
4. Go back to Services.msc and r
ight click on Print Spooler again and click "Start".

On a Mac:

1. Find the Printer Icon on your Dock.  Click on it.


2. Click the x on the print job you want to cancel.  (Move on to the next steps if it does not cancel)


3. Reboot the computer.
4. Unplug USB to the printer.  Wait five seconds.  Plug USB back in.
5. If you receive the error, "Cannot cancel this job because it has already been canceled" unplug the USB cable.  Go to Apple - System Preferences.  Choose Printers.  Select the printer.  Click the - button at the bottom of the list to remove the printer.  Reconnect the USB cable.  The printer will automatically be added and the print queue will be clear.
